Job summary

Elders Inn in Oakland, CA is seeking a diligent janitor to maintain resident apartments and common areas of our assisted living community. You will perform cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking to promote a healthy and welcoming environment for seniors.

This full-time role offers a rotating 4-on, 2-off schedule with a pay rate of $19.30 per hour. Benefits include comprehensive insurance, paid time off, and other security programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fingerprint clearance from FBI & DOJ.
• Physical ability to push/pull 100 pounds and lift/carry 50 pounds.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean using a combination of vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, shampooing/steaming carpets, and dusting.
• Tidy resident apartments.
• Clean building offices and common areas.
• Clean and service public restrooms.
• Dust and polish walls and other surfaces.
• Empty garbage, compost, and recycling to the appropriate dumpsters.

Elders Inn is looking for a janitor!

The Janitor performs a combination of cleaning duties to maintain both resident apartments and the public areas of the assisted living facility in a clean and orderly manner.Maintaining a clean building is the first step in keeping our residents healthy and promoting a high quality of life for the seniors that live with us.

Pay Rate- $19.30 per hour

This full-time position works a rotating schedule of 4 days on, 2 days off.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Fingerprint clearance from the FBI & DOJ
• Physical ability to perform job duties including 100 pound push/pull and 50 pound lift/carry
• Basic computer skills
