Job summary

Elders Inn is seeking a full-time janitor to maintain resident apartments and public areas in a clean, orderly fashion. The role supports resident health and quality of life by ensuring a clean environment in a licensed 52-suite assisted living community.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, offices, restrooms, dusting, and waste disposal; the position requires a high school diploma, FBI/DOJ fingerprint clearance, physical capability, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fingerprint clearance from the FBI & DOJ.
• Physical ability for 100 lb push/pull and 50 lb lift/carry.
• Basic computer skills.

• Clean using vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and dusting.
• Tidy resident apartments and common areas.
• Clean and service public restrooms and offices.
• Dust and polish walls and surfaces.
• Empty garbage, compost and recycling into appropriate dumpsters.

Elders Inn is looking for a janitor!

The Janitor performs a combination of cleaning duties to maintain both resident apartments and the public areas of the assisted living facility in a clean and orderly manner.Maintaining a clean building is the first step in keeping our residents healthy and promoting a high quality of life for the seniors that live with us.

Pay Rate- $19.30 per hour

This full-time position works a rotating schedule of 4 days on, 2 days off.

Responsibilities

• Clean using a combination of vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, shampooing/steaming carpets, and dusting
• Tidy resident apartments
• Clean building offices and common areas
• Clean and service public restrooms
• Dust and polish walls and other surfaces
• Empty garbage, compost, and recycling to the appropriate dumpsters

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Fingerprint clearance from the FBI & DOJ
• Physical ability to perform job duties including 100 pound push/pull and 50 pound lift/carry
• Basic computer skills
