Job summary

Clopay Corporation in Ohio seeks an IT Operations Specialist for the 11:00 PM–8:00 AM shift at the Troy plant. The role focuses on desktop and shop-floor computing support, plus hardware and software installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting to keep manufacturing operations running smoothly.

You will work on Windows environments, manage user requests, and collaborate with teams to maintain a stable shop-floor IT landscape.

Qualifications

• Experience with desktop, hardware, and network support.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 24-hour manufacturing shop floor hardware is operational.
• Perform preventative maintenance on shop floor hardware equipment.
• Install, upgrade and troubleshoot PCs and related peripherals.
• Manage user expectations and follow up on requests.
• Assist other IT Operation Specialists as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of desktop and network products relevant to the environment.
