Job summary

WebstaurantStore is seeking an Inventory Control Assistant Manager in Georgia to support the Inventory Control Manager in leading the DC’s inventory control functions. You will drive accuracy, coach up to 25 staff, and partner with procurement to optimize receiving, stocking, and shipping processes.

You will collaborate with leadership across shifts, enforce SOP compliance, and lead initiatives to improve productivity and cycle counts while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Diplomacy and emotional intelligence in difficult situations.
• Customer service-oriented attitude with a drive to exceed expectations.
• Willingness to work off-shift as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Inventory Control operations and support the Shipping department as needed.
• Train and develop up to 25 employees to achieve operational metrics.
• Coordinate inventory prep with facilities to optimize storage and eliminate dead stock.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycles & audits.
• Collaborate with procurement, resolving issues and improving communication.
• Lead meetings to review metrics and initiatives with the team.
