Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an Experienced Clinical Nurse for the Med Surg Float Pool on the night shift. This full-time RN position (36 hrs/wk at 0.9 FTE) involves inpatient float coverage with weekend/holiday requirements and eligibility for premium shift differentials.

The RN will coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care within NMH standards, adhering to ethical practices and collaborating with the care team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN accredited school/college of nursing.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or higher.
• Licensure: Current State of Illinois, Registered Professional Nurse license.

Responsibilities

• The RN - Inpatient Float provides coverage throughout the organization as assigned.
• Weekend and holiday requirements apply for the float role.
• Advocates patient-centered care and develops an individualized plan of care.
• Delivers high-quality nursing interventions and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team.
