Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Industrial Electrician - Night for its Indiana manufacturing operations. The role focuses on quick analysis, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and electronic components in an industrial setting, using Allen Bradley, CTI, Simotion, Direct Logic PLCs, VFDs, and servo drives.

You will diagnose production equipment faults, work on furnaces, install and calibrate instruments, and perform preventive maintenance while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree.
• Five years of industrial work experience.
• Must be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical malfunctions with electrical test instruments.
• Must adhere to health, safety, and PPE policies.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and isolates production equipment malfunctions using schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and test equipment.
• Troubleshoots combustion furnaces, including differential pressure transmitters, thermocouples, RTDs, safety interlocks, and burners.
• Constructs new and modifies installations as per the NEC.
• Installs, calibrates, and repairs various instruments, including pressure, flow, level, temperature, and position transducers.
• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs when production equipment is down.
• Promotes safety culture and adheres to PPE policies.
