MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC is seeking a dedicated ICU RN for night shifts in Fort Worth, TX on a 13-week contract. You will provide direct care in a high-acuity ICU, monitor patients, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Requirements include an active TX RN license (or compact), 1–2 years ICU experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and proficiency with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring. This role demands strong clinical judgment and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in TX (or compact license)
• 1–2 years ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with critical care equipment, ventilator management, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Ability to work night shift in a high-acuity environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, high-quality nursing care to critically ill ICU patients during night shifts
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, vital signs, and hemodynamic status
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders
• Operate ICU equipment including ventilators and cardiac monitors
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists
• Document care in the EHR accurately
• Educate patients and families on conditions and discharge plans
• Respond to rapid deterioration and emergencies
