MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU for a nursing assignment in Plano, Texas. This role requires an active RN license and BLS & ACLS certifications, alongside experience in an acute care ICU setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN License required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program essential.
• BLS and ACLS Certification mandatory.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care ICU setting needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for adult patients with life-threatening problems.
• Provide patient care and education.
• Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment.
• Observe patient vitals for signs of distress.
• Administer medication, IVs, and insert catheters.
• Document medication administration meticulously.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures.
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
