Ruby River Hotel in downtown Spokane is seeking an Overnight Hotel Security Guard to help maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. You will patrol four downtown properties, monitor for risks, and respond to incidents while assisting front desk teams as needed.

The ideal candidate will stay calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and work independently through overnight shifts. Prior security or hospitality experience is preferred, and discretion is essential for protecting guest

• Experience in security, law enforcement, hospitality, or related field preferred.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Strong observational, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and available for overnight shifts.
• Ability to walk, stand, and patrol multiple properties during shift.
• Basic computer skills for incident reporting and communication.
• Confidentiality and sound judgment are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct routine security patrols of four downtown hotel properties, including interior and exterior areas, parking lots, stairwells, hallways, and common spaces.
• Monitor properties for suspicious activity, unauthorized individuals, safety hazards, and potential security concerns.
• Respond promptly and professionally to disturbances, noise complaints, trespassing concerns, and other security incidents.
• Assist hotel front desk employees with challenging guest interactions and security-related concerns.
• Provide escorts for employees and guests when necessary to ensure their safety.
• Assist with overnight front desk coverage and guest service duties as needed.
• Monitor and enforce hotel policies regarding unauthorized visitors, property access, and guest conduct.
• Document security incidents, unusual activity, and safety concerns in detailed written reports.
• Contact law enforcement, emergency medical services, or management when appropriate.
• Maintain regular communication with hotel management and front desk personnel.
• Ensure doors, entrances, and restricted areas are properly secured.
• Maintain a professional and courteous presence while representing the Company.
