Job summary

Cowles Real Estate is seeking a Public Safety Officer for River Park Square in downtown Spokane. The role involves active patrol across multiple buildings, responding to incidents, and maintaining safety for thousands of patrons and employees.

The position requires mobility, weather resilience, and the ability to work a 3pm–11pm / 11pm–7am shift with a drug screen and safety-sensitive duties. Company-paid training and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred with related experience.
• Ability to read safety rules and procedures.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrols of the property and garages, including stairs, roof areas, and perimeters.
• Respond to incidents quickly and professionally with patrons and staff.
• Uphold safety policies to maintain a secure environment.
• Maintain daily activity blotters and document incidents accurately.
• Monitor CCTV systems with exacqVision software.
• Handle mail delivery and building access procedures.
