Job summary

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln invites applications for a Hospitality Service Attendant/Assistant/Associate/Sr. Associate (Flexible Day Shift). This full-time role performs cleaning and upkeep across housing facilities, maintains offices and public areas, and supports event setup.

Qualifications

• 8th grade education or equivalency.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must have the ability to understand cleaning chemicals and their application and dilution ratios.
• Must have the ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Must be available via cell phone during working hours.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and upkeep across housing facilities.
• Maintain offices, residential halls, public areas, bathrooms, conference rooms, and dining centers.
• Ensure a clean, safe environment for all guests.
• Clean hard floors and carpets.
• Mix cleaning solutions as directed.
• Assist with event setup and conference operations as needed.
