Job summary

Qualifications

• RN education: Graduation from a qualified nursing program.
• Active RN licensure in Arizona and BLS certification.
• Fingerprint Card within 3 months of hire.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in ER or primary care.

Responsibilities

• Triage issues and care for terminally ill patients and families after hours.
• Provide direct care per Plan of Care to maintain comfort and quality of life.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on medication administration and safety.
• Document patient status and care in the EMR with accurate, ongoing updates.
• Collaborate with hospice team and participate in meetings as needed.
