Responsibilities

• Prepare grocery department for the next day’s business; ordering to fill shelves, stocking neatly, pricing accurately, and cleaning up.
• Effectively control proper storage limiting shrink and damaged goods.
• Notify night crew chief or grocery manager of potential shrink problems and product availability issues.
• Monitor cooler and display area temperatures to ensure product quality; report refrigeration failures.
• Order, receive, and unload deliveries; store, price, date, rotate, and stock product for display and sale.
• Keep shelves and displays rotated and clean; ensure oldest products are used first (FIFO).
• Maximize productivity; achieve a minimum standard of 235 cases per 8 hour shift.
