Roche Bros. Supermarkets is seeking an overnight Grocery Stocker to stock merchandise on shelves and displays, ensuring products are fresh, rotated and neatly presented for customers. You will follow directions, maintain safety standards, and help manage inventory while supporting a cohesive night crew.

The role emphasizes accurate pricing, proper storage, and efficient restocking to keep aisles clean and well-organized for the next day’s business.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Complete training in grocery operation.
Capable of following verbal directions.
Must be able to read and write English adequately.
Ability to speak, understand and follow English instructions.
Authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Commit to the Golden Rule and work with other associates to build a strong night crew team.
Achieve high associate morale by working in a respectful, supportive, team-oriented manner.
Prepare grocery department for the next day’s business; order to fill shelves, stock, price and clean.
Control proper storage to limit shrink and damaged goods.
Notify night crew chief of potential shrink or product availability issues.
Monitor cooler/display temperatures and report refrigeration problems.
Maintain safety, sanitation and productivity standards.
Order, receive, unload, stock and display products.
Rotate stock (FIFO) and keep shelves clean.
Maximize productivity; meet minimum 235 cases per 8 hour shift.
Report safety hazards and maintain clean work areas.
