Job summary

Kroger Crystal Lake, IL on-site position leading the Grocery department. You will Direct and supervise all department duties and support day-to-day Grocery operations to deliver exceptional customer service.

Promote a safe, clean environment, implement the Customer 1st strategy, and uphold Kroger's values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety for associates and customers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math, counting and simple arithmetic.
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a retail environment.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Grocery experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Communicate information to associates about company, department, and job specifics.
• Collaborate with associates to achieve store goals.
• Establish department performance goals and empower staff to meet them.
• Train and develop associates on performance and appraisal processes.
