Job summary

Novant Health in Wilmington, NC, is seeking a conscientious Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Gastroenterology team on a nocturnal, inpatient/outpatient basis.

The role supports overnight new consults and procedures, with weekend/holiday rotations. Training proceeds with day-time APP guidance and a GI MD on call for emergencies. Collaborative, patient-centered care is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required; NP or PA with NCCPA/ARC-PA credentials.
• One year APP experience; 3–5 years preferred.
• Current NP or PA license in appropriate state; registry with state medical board; DEA registry and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• See patients in clinic and round at acute facilities under physician supervision.
• Perform a variety of functions in ambulatory and acute settings.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and care team to provide remarkable care.
