Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk in Tarboro, NC to greet visitors and manage access at a food and beverage production site. You will deliver professional customer service while enforcing site procedures and visitor records.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, age 18+ (21+ for armed roles), and successful background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required depending on state/local regulations.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, vendors at a food/beverage site.
• Staff front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify authorization, issue visitor credentials.
• Monitor access points, direct guests, report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Answer calls, provide directions, receive packages, maintain professional communications.
• Respond to incidents calmly, follow emergency procedures and notify leadership.
