Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk in Tarboro, NC to greet visitors and manage access at a food and beverage production site. You will deliver professional customer service while enforcing site procedures and visitor records.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, age 18+ (21+ for armed roles), and successful background and drug screening.

As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk in Tarboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence for visitors and employees. You will manage access, monitor entry activity, respond to inquiries, and communicate security-related concerns while delivering exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, delivery drivers, and vendors at a food and beverage production location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Staff the front desk and reception area, greet and screen visitors, verify authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records.
• Monitor access to the facility by observing entry points, directing guests to appropriate contacts, and reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to site leadership.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general information, receive packages or deliveries as directed, and maintain professional communication with all stakeholders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and promptly notifying appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
