Job summary

ACMH INC in New York, New York, is seeking a Front Desk Monitor for the Garden House in Manhattan (East Village). This full-time shift runs Sundays through Thursdays from 11:00pm to 7:00am and reports to the Program Director.

Duties include monitoring resident and guest entry, handling telephone messages, distributing mail, logging events, supporting medication self-administration, and coordinating with on-call staff during emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required and the ability to work with people.
• Willingness to cover front desk shifts at multiple ACMH residential locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the entry and egress of residents and guests.
• Takes telephone messages for residents and staff.
• Distributes resident mail.
• Provides first-line response in emergencies and coordinates with management.
• Conducts building rounds during shift.
• Records resident events and observations in the Front Desk Logbook.
• Monitors and documents client self-administration of medication.
• Reports incidents or changes to on-call staff.
• Attends requested training and covers front desk at other ACMH sites as needed.
• Maintains a calm, respectful demeanor with residents, staff and visitors.
