Job summary

Candlewood Suites St. Louis – St. Charles, IHG is seeking a reliable Night Auditor for part-time overnight shifts.

The ideal candidate has hotel front desk and night audit experience, works independently, and maintains accurate financial reporting while delivering guest service that aligns with IHG brand standards. Responsibilities include overnight front desk tasks, nightly audits, billing checks, and PMS record upkeep.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year hotel front desk and/or night audit experience required.
• Experience using Opera and/or Hotel Key PMS systems required.
• IHG-branded property experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform overnight front desk duties, including guest check-ins and check-outs.
• Complete nightly audit procedures and balance daily financial transactions.
• Perform accurate billing checks and resolve discrepancies prior to running the night audit.
• Prepare and distribute daily audit and revenue reports.
• Handle credit card transactions and reconcile discrepancies.
• Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas during overnight hours (lobby, restrooms, entrances, etc.).
• Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
• Monitor hotel security and ensure guest safety during overnight hours.
• Maintain accurate records in the PMS.
• Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and IHG brand standards.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding overnight activity or issues.
