Job summary

Werner Enterprises is seeking a transportation logistics professional in Locust Grove, GA to build and maintain strong driver relationships and optimize loads with the Dedicated team. You will coordinate with billing, safety, payroll and other departments to ensure reliable service.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or logistics and 6–12 months of supervisory experience, plus strong organizational abilities and tech proficiency with terminals and satellite comms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics preferred.
• Six months to one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to operate a computer terminal and satellite communications system.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships and meet driver needs.
• Partner with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads.
• Interface with billing, vans, customer service, risk, safety, payroll, fuel and external vendors.
• Fill and maintain a full board of drivers with the Operations Manager.
• Ensure timely attendance and shift adherence.
