GNS North America is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift in Michigan. The role involves moving parts and materials on the production floor, stacking loads safely, and performing routine equipment checks.

You will support a fast-paced metalworking environment with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities include transporting items between departments, maintaining 5S standards, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives.

Competenze

Operate forklift to move parts and materials between departments.
Stack loads safely and within weight limits.
Perform routine checks on forklift (oil, battery, propane) and report malfunctions.

Mansioni

Operate forklift to transport parts and materials from one department to another.
Ensure loads are stacked properly for safe transportation.
Check oil level, battery and propane; report equipment issues.
Perform stocking, prep for new work, and load/unload dies as needed.
Position forks and platforms to move pallets and transport loads to designated areas.
Contribute to continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S practices.
Uphold safety and quality standards in all tasks.
