Job summary

The Chefs’ Warehouse is seeking a dependable forklift operator to join our Maryland distribution team. You will put away and rotate full pallets, replenish stock, and unload deliveries using stand-up or sit-down forklifts.

Safety, accuracy, and efficiency are essential as you work within a fast-paced warehouse. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of forklift experience, with the ability to pass a forklift operation exam.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years forklift experience.
• Must be a team player and work well with all levels of staff.
• Must pass forklift operating exam.
• Warehouse or distribution facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Stand-Up, High Reach, or Sit-Down forklifts to put away or retrieve pallets up to 46 feet.
• Picks, sorts and replenishes product from upper racks to front pick bins.
• Unload product from trailers using forklift trucks and pallet jacks.
• Move product from receiving dock to storage locations.
• Maintain clean and orderly receiving docks and pickup bin area.
• Monitor and enforce safe handling procedures.
