Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse in New Bedford, MA is seeking a skilled forklift operator to handle stock put-away, rotation, and pallet movement within our warehouse.

Responsibilities include operating stand-up or sit-down forklifts up to 46 feet, unloading trailers, stocking products, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards; 2+ years of forklift experience and a valid operator exam are required. High school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of forklift experience.
• Ability to pass a forklift operating exam.
• Warehouse/distribution facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Stand-Up, High Reach, or Sit-Down forklift to put away or let down pallets into warehouse racks up to 46 feet high.
• Picks/sorts and replenishes product from upper racks to front pick bins.
• Unloads product from trailers using forklift trucks and powered riding pallet jacks.
• Manually moves product from receiving dock to proper storage location.
• Monitors and enforces safe product handling procedures.
