Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a forklift operator at our New Bedford, MA facility to manage stock in high-reach racks and assist with receiving and storage. A valid forklift operation history and the ability to pass a forklift exam are required.

Location is on site with range of duties including pallet moves, unloading, and maintaining clean, safe work areas. Strong teamwork and reliability are essential for success in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of forklift experience required.
• Ability to pass forklift operating exam.
• Warehouse/distribution facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver forklift to put away or drop pallets into racks up to 46 feet high.
• Picks, sorts and replenishes product from upper racks to front pick bins.
• Unloads product from trailers using forklift and pallet jacks.
• Move product from receiving dock to proper storage location.
• Enforce safe product handling procedures and monitor quality.
