Job summary

Novo Building Products in Allentown, PA is seeking a Forklift Operator to move product safely and efficiently within the warehouse. The role requires operating a stand‑up forklift, scanning products with RF devices, and maintaining orderly, safe work areas.

The position is Full Time, night shift, with occasional overtime. Candidates must be 18+, hold a valid driver's license, and meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50–100 lbs and handling long items. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Physical ability to perform all essential functions, including moving awkward product lengths and weights.
• Experience operating a forklift rated for 6,500 lbs.
• Use of proper PPE and company‑approved tools; awareness of hazards and safety practices.
• Basic math, interpersonal, team, and reasoning skills.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and standard work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move product and pallets safely throughout the warehouse.
• Communicate discrepancies, product issues, or safety concerns with Supervisor.
• Scan product using RF scanners and verify correct labeling.
• Maintain a clean, safe area free of debris.
• Organize products to keep like items together and readily accessible.
• Complete Novo forklift training and adhere to all safety requirements.
• Place stand‑up items into designated areas by hand as required.
