Job summary

Plastipak is seeking a Backup Yard Driver in our Jackson Center, OH operation. You will move materials between warehouse and production areas using a forklift, and transport trailers across yard and docks in a safety-focused role.

This position offers 12-hour night shifts, weekend rotation, and promise of long-term stability in a manufacturing setting. Eligible associates also receive Sunday double-time pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.
• At least 1 year forklift experience.
• At least 6 months driving semi-trailers (experience may come from work or training).
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a 3-2-2-3 schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move raw materials and finished goods between the warehouse and production areas.
• Load and unload trucks for Shipping & Receiving.
• Move trailers from yard to docks and secure them when parked.
• Follow all safety rules, BOS work instructions, and SAP standards.
