Job summary

Environment Control is seeking a full-time Floor Technician to join our Columbus area team. This role focuses on carpet and tile floor care, basic cleaning, and support for exterior cleaning projects.

You will work 40 hours per week with a 90-day waiting period for health care; eligibility for company-sponsored health care after meeting requirements, and eligibility for 401K after 1 year and 1,000 hours.

Qualifications

• Experience with carpet cleaning and floor care including stripping, waxing, and buffing.
• Ability to follow supervisor instructions and report issues promptly.
• Willingness to perform fill-in cleaning and exterior cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Check-in daily with supervisor to confirm tasks and vehicle assignments.
• Complete work as assigned, including 1- or 2-person jobs.
• Take before-and-after photos for quality control reporting.
• Report any floor, access, or equipment issues to supervision.
• Coordinate building access and vehicle usage as needed.
• Sign-in and -out vehicles; report any vehicle issues.
• Sign-in and -out keys; return to supervisor.
• Tag broken equipment with details and issues.
• Assist with fill-in cleaning as required.

Our Team is looking for a full-time Floor Technician in the Columbus area.

Key Tasks

• Floor Care Work: Carpet,Cleaning, Tile floor care (auto scrub, strip/wax, buffing, etc)
• Fill-In Cleaning
• Project Work - Exterior window cleaning, Construction clean-ups, Tenant move-out cleaning, etc.

Responsibilities

• Check-in daily with supervisor to confirm (s) and vehicles
• Complete work as assigned (example - 1 -person job versus 2-person job)
• Take before and after pictures on the Orange QC Job Report
• Communicate any problems as they occur with supervisor (floor issues, access issues, equipment issues)
• Communicate with the supervisors and managers for building access, as needed
• Use of company vehicles bases on equipment needs
• Sign-out and -in vehicles each time and report any issues with the vehicles to your supervisor, when noticed.
• Sign-out and -in keys to the key box or return to supervisors
• Tag broken equipment with detail regarding the problem
• Correction of customer complaints, as directed by supervisor (Orange QC)
• Assist with fill-in cleaning

Compensation

• Pay - $18.00 - $20.00/Hour ($37,440- $41,600 per year if working 40-hour work weeks)
• Hours - 40/week
• 90-day waiting period for health care. If consistently meet 40 hours/week threshold at the end of 90 days will become eligible for company Company-sponsored health care program.
• 401K - Eligible after 1 year and workin 1,000 hours.
