Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Nursing Float Pool on the night shift. This role offers variety across acute care settings, ICU and/or ED exposure, and the chance to impact care delivery across the organization.

You will work full-time (0.90 FTE) with options for a signing bonus and relocation assistance. PeaceHealth supports professional growth and a mission-driven culture focused on compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
• Minimum of two years of acute care nursing experience.
• ICU and/or Emergency Department experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care.
• Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Documenting patient care accurately and in accordance with established standards.
• Delegating and directing care appropriately based on team member competencies.
• Supporting quality, safety, infection prevention, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintaining professional excellence through ongoing education and development.
