North American Partners in Anesthesia, LLP is seeking a Night Float Anesthesiologist for Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. The role features a 26 weeks on / 26 weeks off schedule (7pm–7am, Monday–Monday) spanning a wide case mix including endo, general, obstetric, radiology, ortho, and vascular surgeries.

The position offers a total rewards package with a $615K salary and a $150K sign-on incentive, plus comprehensive benefits and fully paid malpractice coverage.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency is required.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified status is required.
• Current medical licensure is required to practice.
• ECFMG/FLEX certification may apply for international medical graduates.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor patient physiologic condition and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.
