Job summary

USAirports Flight Support in Rochester, NY, is hiring for a Flight Line Service Agent on C-shift. You will fuel and deice aircraft, tow and park planes, assist passengers, and maintain ramp safety and cleanliness. Full-time benefits apply, including insurance and a 401(k).

The position requires 18+ and a background check, with the shift schedule from 9:30 pm to 6:00 am, Wednesday through Sunday. Competitive hourly pay ranges from $18 to $22.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Required documentation: valid Driver’s License, birth certificate and/or passport.
• Able to pass a 10-year background check and obtain an airport security badge.
• Able to acquire customs seal through US Customs and Border Patrol.
• Excellent dependability, communication, and professionalism required.
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Refueling aircraft.
• Deicing aircraft.
• Refueling ground service equipment.
• Driving fuel trucks and ground support vehicles.
• Parking, towing, storing, and securing aircraft; directing movement of aircraft and vehicular traffic on the ramp.
• Policing the ramp, lounges, and auto parking areas; maintaining cleanliness and security.
• Moving aircraft in and out of hangar.
• Assisting passengers and meeting arriving and dispatching departing aircraft.
• Monitoring and maintaining fuel inventories on fuel trucks.
• Providing lavatory and water service, restocking supplies.
• Providing shuttle service for passengers and crew.
• Assist with general cleaning and debris removal; uphold high customer service for flight crews and passengers.
• Complete USAirports training and computer-based training modules.
• Potential to become Line Service Lead or Supervisor.
