Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Knowledge of custodial practices, equipment, and materials.
• MSDS/SDS awareness and custodial chemical handling knowledge.
• Able to travel between county facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine custodial care for assigned facilities (dusting, vacuuming, bathrooms, floors).
• Operate a variety of custodial equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Restock supplies and inform supervisor when cleaning products are low.
• Ensure buildings are secured at end of shift and follow safety practices.
• Gathers and disposes of county recycling; attend staff meetings and training.
