Job summary

The State of Wyoming is seeking a full-time daytime custodian to maintain clean, safe facilities for employees and the public. This role emphasizes general cleaning, stocking supplies, and adhering to safety policies in state buildings.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma and up to 2 years of related experience, with preference for familiarity with cleaning materials and chemicals. Benefits include health, retirement, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 0-6 months of progressive work experience (Building and Grounds).
• 1-2 years of progressive work experience (Building and Grounds) as substitution.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of floors, furniture, restrooms and offices.
• Vacuuming, trash/recycling, dusting, mopping, sanitizing, windows cleaning.
• Restock supplies and monitor supply levels.
• Operate cleaning equipment and report repairs to supervisor.
• Support setup of conference rooms and perform security checks.
