Job summary

City Wide in Greensboro is seeking a Night Manager to oversee contract compliance for our building maintenance accounts and to manage the working relationship between City Wide and our independent cleaning contractors in the Greensboro area.

This full-time, evening/overnight role emphasizes strong people-management skills and a background in facilities or janitorial services, with opportunities to grow into account management or operations leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in commercial janitorial or facilities services is a plus.
• Prior supervisory experience, including coaching, motivating, and leading a team across multiple sites.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable with regular local travel between client sites; valid driver's license and reliable vehicle recommended.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods during site visits.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with independent contractors by communicating client priorities and collaborating on solutions.
• Review scope-of-work documents and conduct quality inspections to retain existing accounts and support new business growth.
• Send nightly recap reports and escalate urgent issues to the Facility Services Manager.
• Handle customer complaints, new account start-ups, and special client requests.
• Enforce company policies on cleaning standards, tools, and equipment use.
