Job summary

City Wide is seeking a Night Manager to oversee contract compliance for our building maintenance accounts in the Winston‑Salem area, with responsibilities spanning Greensboro and nearby locations. This full‑time evening/overnight role emphasizes strong people‑management skills and a background in facilities or janitorial services.

You will supervise independent contractors, review scopes of work, and perform quality inspections while handling client communications and escalations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional experience in commercial janitorial or facilities services is a plus.
• Prior supervisory experience, including coaching, motivating, and leading a team across multiple sites.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel locally to client sites; valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle recommended.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods during site visits.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with independent contractors by communicating client priorities and collaborating on solutions.
• Review scope‑of‑work documents and conduct quality inspections to retain existing accounts and support new business growth.
• Send nightly recap reports and elevate urgent issues to the Facility Services Manager.
• Handle customer complaints, new account start‑ups, and special client requests.
• Enforce company policies on cleaning standards, tools, and equipment use.
