Ardent Health Services in Quitman, TX is seeking a night shift ER Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position. You will deliver high-quality emergency patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and adhere to hospital protocols.

Experience in emergency nursing preferred; Texas RN license required along with ACLS, TNCC, PALS/ENPC, BLS; orientation includes NIHSS. Join a patient-centered facility with advanced trauma and stroke services.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Degree in nursing from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Texas RN license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) before end of orientation.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) before end of orientation.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) before end of orientation.
• NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification before the end of orientation.

Responsabilidades

• Administers care to a patient population ranging from newborn to geriatric and utilizes a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to ensure that each patient receives nursing care appropriate to his/her illness or injury.
• Prioritizes patient care need based on the patient assessment and uses the nursing process to implement a plan of care appropriate to each patient’s needs.
• Delivers care consistent with physician’s orders and treatment protocols and in accordance with hospital and departmental policy.
