Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking an ER Registered Nurse for Night shifts in the Pittsburgh area. The role is PRN/Casual at an 18-bed small-format hospital with 8 ER beds and 10 inpatient beds.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Room. Required are an Associate's Degree (BSN preferred), active PA RN license, 2+ years ER experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and English fluency. Certifications may vary; PA Act 33/73 clearances may be needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions, required.
• 2+ years ER or comparable experience, required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; ENPC substitution OK; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in the ER.
• Provide age-appropriate nursing care and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Complete accurate, legible documentation in medical records.
• Observe and record vital signs and symptoms; communicate plans with the team.
• Adhere to infection control, isolation, and aseptic techniques.
• Follow physician orders in delivering nursing care; assist with procedures.
