Job summary

Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital in Mooresville, NC seeks an Experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department night shift. You will plan and provide professional nursing care, following medical plans and supervising licensed and unlicensed staff within an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements include a BSN or higher, NC RN licensure, and BLS. No prior experience required; new graduates enter the Nurse Residency. This role offers a commitment bonus and relocation assistance where eligible.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN or higher; associates or diploma also acceptable with progression.
• All CNIs enroll in the DUHS Nurse Residency Program within 12 months of hire.
• Must have current or compact RN licensure in North Carolina; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care for patients in accordance with care plans and policies.
• Provide nursing services to patients and families as defined by the RN scope.
• Plan, provide and document care; delegate tasks and supervise licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Participate in performance improvement and professional development activities.
• Maintain environment and equipment readiness; support other staff and learners.
