Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a Mental Health Technician I at Lexington Medical Center - Emergency Department. Under RN supervision, you help coordinate patient care, monitor areas, and maintain a safe, respectful environment during program hours.

Nights shift 7p-7a, 36 hours per week, every other weekend. Competitive pay range $18.85-$28.30 hourly plus benefits, with opportunities for growth and a strong commitment to trauma-informed care and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required; CPI certification preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years in related mental health care recommended.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients under RN supervision in the Emergency Department.
• Monitor designated areas and coordinate daily patient care activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and quiet environment while upholding professional boundaries.
