Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist's ED Observation Unit in Winston-Salem seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for a nights shift in a 36-hour work week. The unit supports both adult and pediatric trauma care with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff.

ExpectATIONS include an accredited nursing program, valid RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and preferred 2 years of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS are required within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
