Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Beaverton, OR is hiring an Equipment Technician 2 for diffusion & wet sink operations on the Night Shift. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize diffusion furnace and wet sink equipment to ensure high tool availability and reliable production.

Candidates should have an associate degree in electronics or related field and at least 2 years of hands-on experience with semiconductor processing equipment, including diffusion furnaces and linear wet sinks.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical/military experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining semiconductor processing equipment, preferably diffusion furnaces and/or linear wet sinks.
• Strong ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow all cleanroom protocols, safety requirements, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Monitor, assess, and respond to equipment performance trends within the module.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and diagnostic maintenance with focus on root cause resolution.
• Execute structured troubleshooting to reduce tool downtime and improve recovery time.
• Analyze tool performance data during maintenance to identify trends and support improvements.
• Document maintenance activities, findings, actions, and system updates.
• Share knowledge and best practices with team to support cross-training.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase uptime and lower cost of ownership.
