Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Regular, full-time Night Transport Technician at the Burnet Campus. In this role, you will apply EMT knowledge to transport patients, maintain licenses, and follow ORC guidelines while ensuring safety and compliance in a busy transport environment.

You must hold Ohio EMT-Basic (or equivalent), pursue Kentucky EMT-Basic within 6 months, and obtain National Registry EMT within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of work experience in a related job discipline.
• Current Ohio EMT-Basic certification.
• Obtain Kentucky EMT-Basic certificate within 6 months of hire.
• Obtain National Registry EMT within 6 months of hire.
• Current driver license with good driving record (points ≤5).
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Medical Transport: Utilize EMT skills and ORC laws to transport patients. Maintain current licenses and documentation.
• Safety: Ensure a safe environment and adherence to safety requirements during transport.
• Communication: Coordinate with health care team, patients and families; report changes to nursing staff.
• Confidentiality: Protect patient and family information at all times.
