Akron Children's Hospital is seeking a skilled EMT-P to join our transport team for direct patient care during inter-facility transfers. The role supports neonates, children, and adults under the Dedicated Transport Nurse, adhering to CAMTS standards and departmental protocols.

Responsibilities include airway management, accurate documentation, safe vehicle operation, equipment stocking and checks, and completion of required certifications within the stated timeline.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio EMT-P license (required upon hire).
• EVOC required.
• BLS certification required (upon hire).
• ACLS and PALS certifications expected within 1–2 years.
• NRP, ABLS, PFCCS, STABLE certifications encouraged.
• FP-C or CNPT considered for advanced credentials.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care to neonates, pediatrics and adults during transport.
• Collaborate with RN to maintain pre-transport and post-transport records.
