Job summary

Life Ambulance Network is seeking EMTs to respond to emergencies, provide basic emergency care, and transport patients to medical facilities. The role requires IL EMT-Basic licensure, a valid driver’s license, CPR certification, and the ability to lift at least 150 pounds.

Training and orientation will be provided. Competitive pay is offered based on years licensed, with PTO, overtime opportunities, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Illinois Licensure as EMT-Basic (Required for interview).
• Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.
• BLS level service proficiency.
• Current CPR card.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls and provide basic emergency care.
• Transport patients to hospitals and continue care during transport.
• Lift/push/pull patients and operate equipment safely.
• Maintain composure in stressful situations and follow EMT training protocols.
