Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring experienced Veterinary Technicians to work in our busy Emergency and Critical Care department. Sign-on bonus is available for qualified CVT, LVT, RVT, LVMT, and experienced un-credentialed technicians.

Hours are 7:30 pm - 8:00 am with pay at $20 - $40 per hour. This is a dynamic role in a fast-paced hospital where you will contribute to exceptional patient care and grow your skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary anesthesia induction, monitoring and recovery.
• Ability to triage emergency cases and monitor vitals.
• Proficiency in digital radiography and proper patient positioning.
• Ability to calculate medical dosages and administer medications.

Responsibilities

• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia in patients and use anesthesia/monitoring equipment.
• Triage emergency cases as they arrive at the hospital including obtaining vitals such as temperature heart rate, respiratory rate and blood pressure.
• Perform digital radiography using proper technique including proper positioning of patients.
• Place and maintain feeding tubes and central line catheters.
• Mentor and train co-workers and address client concerns.
