Job summary

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Services department to join our night shift team. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, coordinate with physicians and the care team, and ensure accurate documentation of interventions.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient advocacy, and collaboration with the hospital’s multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes and patient experience.

Qualifications

• RN license and diploma required.
• ACLS, BCLS must be obtained within specified timeframes.
• PALS/ENPC or equivalent pediatric life support required within 6 months of start date.
• No travel required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in emergency/acute care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care in the ER.
• Document care in the electronic medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and follow-up.
• Assist with discharge planning and care transitions.
