MedStar Health in McLean, VA is seeking a Night ED/ICU Pharmacist to safely review, verify, prepare, and dispense medications for adult and pediatric emergency and critical care areas during overnight operations. The role is based in the ED with a 7 on/7 off schedule.

You will provide clinical and operational pharmacy support, collaborate with the healthcare team, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations, including medication safety and accuracy in dosing and administration.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree (required) or higher in pharmacy or related field.
• Licensed pharmacist in the state of Maryland (required).
• 1–2 years of clinical hospital pharmacy experience (required).
• Residency or board certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Oversee safe, accurate dispensing for adult and pediatric emergency and critical care units.
• Provide cross-coverage and support to other night-shift pharmacists as needed.
• Advise clinical staff on appropriate medication administration and potential adverse reactions.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state/federal regulations, and patient safety standards.
