Job summary

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals for the Hershey, PA area. This role is 3rd shift (11:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends, offering $16.25 per hour plus an enhanced pay option. Paid training provided; no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Related direct care experience (DSP, CAN, HHA) preferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support, transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained).
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.
