Job summary

Actalent in Wisconsin is seeking a Distillation Technician to safely operate and monitor distillation equipment within a food flavor and probiotic ingredient facility. This role follows GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards on a 3rd shift schedule, delivering accurate production documentation and supporting continuous improvement in a collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate has 6 months to 5 years of manufacturing experience, familiarity with batch records, and the ability to operate

Qualifications

• Experience in food production, with 6 months to 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and follow batch records and detailed production instructions.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and SQF requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and monitor distillation equipment and related production systems.
• Perform manual production tasks including material handling, batching, blending, and packaging.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, and SOP procedures to maintain food safety and quality.
• Use inventory system to track materials, batches, and production activities.
• Complete quality documentation with high accuracy.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness while meeting production goals.
• Collaborate with team and other departments to improve safety and efficiency.
• Operate forklift and scissor lift for material movement.
• Adapt to changing priorities and respond to delays professionally.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in distillation processes.
