USPack, a leading logistics provider, is seeking a Dispatch Supervisor to oversee the full range of dispatcher functions, direct staff, and ensure staffing levels align with service goals in Akron, OH.

The role requires three years of dispatch experience, sharp problem-solving, and the ability to work day, night, or swing shifts. The position pays $60,000 annually with benefits including 401(k), health and life insurance, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• Three years of progressively responsible dispatching experience.
• Strong decision-making skills and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to supervise, motivate, and evaluate staff.
• High school diploma required; Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs full range of supervisory duties; directs dispatch staff.
• Supervises dispatch personnel and plans work assignments.
• Evaluates shift operations and recommends improvements.
• Conducts employee evaluations and manages timesheets.
• Implements corrective actions and resolves performance issues.
• Prepares dispatch activity reports and investigations.
• Works assigned shifts including days, nights, or weekends.
• Lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
